It's been a week since I finished Winter Begonia, and I still can't stop thinking about it. So many scenes are permanently etched in my mind - I absolutely need to try making fanart... this story just won't let me go. Yet another flawless recommendation from geraineon <3

**MDL says it’s Chinese, Gaga says it’s from Singapore… I imagine it is something similar to whatever is going on with Desire. I understand that it’s because of the censorship, but I don’t fully grasp how it works.

***I don’t think it’s BL properly, but holy shit, that first episode was very good. I am going to be waiting for the next episode.

I absolutely loved Winter Begonia. What I really appreciate is when a work inspires me to learn more and when it challenges me, and this drama sure did that. I also loved the funny moments. Shang Xirui is such a fascinating character, and I adored him. I also loved Du Luocheng, I even ship them a little (and with Cheng Fengtai too ). I also would’ve loved to see more of Cao Guixiu and Gu Dali. It was so good, Neon! And I’d love to rewatch it someday.

Re: The summer Hikaru died: I’m really enjoying it! The atmosphere is so creepy and sad at the same time, and I love that vibe. I’d love to read the manga too, but I'd like to buy the physical copies... though that will have to wait for now. With the kid starting high school, money is a bit tight atm.
