The Heartkillers

alterkrmnI don't really know when I stopped watching Thai BL out of curiosity and because the first one I watched left me very dissatisfied, but I have watched more and more and now I think I genuinely enjoy them. Something I appreciate is that there are different flavors, and yes, I kinda like that they're a bit higher heat, but it's not a requisite for me to like stories.
At some point last year I was obssesed with The Sign because besides the romance they also had to solve crimes and there was a villain with supernatural powers and all...
But now it's time to obsess over The Heartkillers. It's been very fun and it's the highlight of my Wednesdays. I like this format of waiting for new episodes each week, it prevents me from binge watching and I need to do things like focus on work, which it's actually helpful.
Anyway, I really like that all the four mains are people of questionable morals. I have been enjoying the deception and now the consequences of said deception. I admit I was expecting something a bit darker but it's fine, that's what fics are for, I haven't read many, but after these last two episodes, I'm sure I can find the flavor I'm looking for 😁... I have been daydreaming fics that I'll probably never write, but I don't feel disappointed when things don't happen like in my head. As it says on Dee's wall: "Less expectations, more satisfaction"
Every week I hope I don't get disappointed and it's been already 8 episodes, let's see how it ends. Four more episodes to go.
I am tempted to read the novel, but I'm not sure if there's an english translaton out there. I'm curious to see if it's darker or if it's more romcom and what are the differences.
